A few things to know during your stay
We want everyone to enjoy a safe, relaxing stay at Matakohe Holiday Park.
Here are a few simple guidelines to help keep the park comfortable for all guests.
Park rules and guidelines
These simple rules help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

Checking in and checking out
Check-in and check-out times help us prepare the accommodation properly for each guest. If you need flexibility, chat with us, and we’ll do our best to help.
Quiet hours for a good night’s sleep
Quiet hours apply in the evenings so everyone can rest and unwind.
Please keep noise to a minimum during these times.
Parking around the park
Please park in designated areas and avoid blocking roads or accessways. This keeps the park safe and accessible for all guests.
Pets and animals
Pets are welcome. Please adhere to the common-sense rule. Dogs need to be controlled at all times, pick up any business they dispose of, and ensure they are not left unattended.
Rubbish and recycling
Use the clearly marked bins for rubbish and recycling. Keeping the park tidy helps protect our environment.
Visitor and day guest policy
Visitors are welcome during reasonable hours.
Please inform us of any day guests and ensure they follow park rules.

Alcohol and responsible behaviour
Alcohol may be consumed responsibly within your site or unit. Excessive noise or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
BBQ area use
BBQs must be supervised at all times while in use. Please clean the BBQ and surrounding area after cooking so it’s ready for the next guests to enjoy.
Respecting fellow guests
Be considerate of other guests’ privacy and space. A friendly, respectful atmosphere makes the park enjoyable for everyone.
Looking after shared facilities
Please leave kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas clean after use. A little consideration goes a long way for the next guest.
Speed limits within the park
Please drive slowly and carefully at all times within the park. Low speeds help keep everyone safe.
Children’s safety around the park
Children must be supervised at all times. Please ensure they play safely around roads, water, and shared areas.
